  • How do I register for this year’s MWF Gathering?

  • I’m new to Focusing. Will you be offering a Focusing Level 1: Introduction to Focusing class during the Gathering? Since our primary goal is to continue developing our community of Midwest Focusers, we have decided to limit attendance to those who are already somewhat familiar with the Focusing process and Focusing partnership. However, there are several opportunities currently available to learn Focusing prior to the Gathering. Here’s a link to help you get started.
  • What kind of food will be served? What if I have dietary restrictions? All meals are served cafeteria-style and include a choice of hot entrees, plus a variety of fresh/frozen fruits and vegetables. If you let us know during registration about specific dietary restrictions, the kitchen staff can easily accommodate the following diets: vegan, vegetarian, diabetic, no beef/pork/chicken. There is some limited refrigerator space for participants to bring special foods. Contact us for more information.
  • Is there any possibility of staying over on Sunday night? For those who would like to enjoy the surrounding area for one more evening, there is a nominal extra charge for lodging (does not include Sunday dinner or Monday breakfast). You’ll be able to choose this option during registration.
  • What kind of travel arrangements will I need to make? This year’s Gathering is being held at Lindenwood Retreat & Conference Center, 9601 Union Rd, Plymouth, IN 46513.  
    • Lindenwood is located 35 miles south of South Bend, IN. It’s a 1.5 hour drive from downtown Chicago, 2.5 hours north of Indianapolis and 3.5 hours from Ann Arbor. 
    • If you need help with transportation, please let us know and we’ll see if someone is available to car pool. There is also a place on the online registration form to request travel assistance.
  • Are there any scholarships (cost-reductions) available? A limited number of scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact us to inquire.
  • What if my plans change and I need to cancel? In the event that you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as you become aware. If you need to cancel before September 1, you can request a full refund (minus a $30 administrative fee). After September 1, no refund is available, although you may transfer your registration to a friend.
